Our story

We come from a family of 5 girls and 3 boys.  We have always come up with different ideas for things to improve our way of life. Also, my father was always drawing up different inventions he thought of. Well one day I was at my husband’s place of employment with my Bijon, Jack, and my mini Chihuahua princess. I was holding Jack on his leash and Princess in my lap.  I had a plastic handled leash that pulls in and out with the locking button.  I wanted to put Jack down and I started looking around where I could put the leash and he would still be able to have the freedom of the length of it. There was nothing I could do. The handle wouldn’t fit around or under anything.  That’s when the idea popped in my head that if I had something to go through the handle of this leash and lock around the desk leg it would be perfect!  My mind started racing with thoughts and I decided to go buy a few things to put my plan into action. I called my brother Ron and came up with the initial idea. We went to work together tweaking it and changing it so it could be used in any aspect. The design was easy and very convenient to use. I thought you could go to the park and put the Frisky-n- Free leash accessory around a tree, a fence post, or around your waist and any other place you would need your pet to be stationary yet still have the freedom of the leash you already own. We thought of the dog whisperer roller blading and decided this would be perfect for almost any activity. We came up with our idea to help pet owners of almost any age to use the Frisky-n-Free leash accessory. It’s extremely versatile. Our business is family owned and operated and we would like to offer the Frisky-n-Free leash accessory from our family to yours.
